Wah! Imba. 1st day of orientation over le. SHOUTOUT: THANKZ TO ALL FOR PUTTING EFFORT INTO THIS ORIENTATION, SCs, OGLs AND PARTICIPANTS TOO!!
Hmm. Jus finished dinner and aye, got log here to pack. Gals all chiong up to bathe so the bored me stone here and wait for them to return [jiaga the log]. Haha. As expected, orientation is going to be busy. Started the day with a warm shower. Or should I say that I started the day with rolling out of bed cause muscles aching [expected]. X.x OMG, I am seriously going to dance like an old man sia. Hahaha.
Reached school about 0716am. Kinda lost of what help is needed so float about, looking for things to be done. So fall in at my log room and found meng shuen and team poking holes on the cardboards [btw, cutting of cardboard with scissors (coupled with high quality cardboard from cannon boxes) is a good approximation of hell]. Seeing that there are so many people venting their anger [being called to do saikang] on the cardboard, I asked for another job. And gained one which involves the cutting of raffia strings. Not bad. Kinda easy. After that got to leave here and there to get sc t-shirt, etc.
*on the side note, I think our sc shirt is so cute, in spite of the many comments from others. I AM A STUDENT at the front to symbolise that we place students in front of us. =D and coupled with COUNCILLOR at the back. Aiya, the feel is like we are just any other student from the front but in fact we are councillors, very approachable. Idea sama sama there la.*
Then it was carrying of logistics here and there. After the talks [which overran a little], it was the opening ceremony, which was kinda not very well-prepared. xP people popping up confused, as OGLs and SCs have to run out together at the call of the OG and its name. So in the end it turned out to be many many stupid poses, with mine not being an exception. So the atmosphere wasn't really high lo. Then we moved on with a preview of the massdance. And gosh, I FORGOT 8 BEATS!! So 丢脸. Hope that those people are still new with the dance hence not noticing my mistake. xP
It was ice breakers next followed by taxidi. Hmm. Basically, there was nothing much to be done according to the activities on going as in EXCO have to do other stuff [mostly running around and carrying logistics]. Many thankz to exco for helping me with the scoreboard. How sad your feathers didn't turn out well but we did kept 2 of them at '08. xP
Now that all's over and I am once again unemployed after doing saikang previously. =) yesterday was amazing sia. Baojia got superbly high about taking photos. Aye! Should have taken more sia, now that I am thinking back. My 名言：photo freezes time. x) a bunch of tired out people trying to stay enthu. Glad that I have internet for the hostel. =) so went up on msn and check mail [while conveniently talk to some people/people talk to me] Danz happened to be one of them. Webcam and like bees to flowers/flies to cowdung, gals came to play with it. Hmm. So just dumped the laptop to them go do sm other stuff. =) by the time I finish le, all have already slept. J tired bunch of people. Then got to do everything silently. AND THE ROOM IS FREAKING COLD!!! Stucked at 20 degree Celsius. Gosh. Me in shorts and xperience shirt. Got out my level jacket. Whole body felt like a piece of concrete block. Pain everywhere. Piack on the sofa don't need to count to 50 sleep liao. But amazingly, I heard someone murmuring in her [I suppose is a her, sounds like one at least] sleep. Gosh. EXCO should seriously get more sleep. Though I only got like approximately 2.5 hrs of sleep, still feeling rather alive now.
2 more long days to conquer!! =) MANY THANKZ TO ALL AGAIN!!
