Sorting out the "to-be-sorted" piles of papers can be surprising at times. Found this piece of what i guess is an attempt at lyrics writing. Seems like it turned out more like a poem. It wasn't dated so well, i wonder when i wrote it. Think it was about a year back? Thought that i should just document it down (here) before junking the paper. :)

Titled: A perspective to life
(lol! let the laughter begins)
Finding the meaning of life,
Or rather, finding the things that worth the time.
Humans have no sense of time
Dreadful seconds feel like years while fun-filled hours just fly by.
Since the day we are born, till the very day we die
Are we chasing what we really want? Or are we just preoccupying our minds?
We laugh, we cry. We cheer, we sigh.
Yet beneath the many expressions we show, lies the uncountable things we unknowingly hide.
Well, is this right?
Touch your heart, look inside.
You may then be surprised.
Cuz what you find, may be someone you cant recognise.
Through each day and pass each night,
in the urban battlefield we fight.
Facades to identify and exposed backs hide
Lest behold a silent dagger smite
At the end of the day, whats the take away?
Is it the pay? Is it fame?
What worth most I'll say, is a genuine smile on the face.

Kinda bleak huh. Lol! Some words like "touch heart", "not right", were words that some people in my life used. Feel that the ideas are kinda random and all over the place. Oh well, all in the name of randomness! :)
