Alright! Finally here in California. Some not so nice things happened and of which resulted in a nerve-wreaking, blood-freezing experience. At least the dorms are nice. Much more than what I expected. Here’s a few pictures:

Recap way back to the start of the day… Gathered at Changi Airport T3 at 7:15h. Left Singapore with lotsa well-wishes and thanks so much for ABC for coming all the way down too. And even a card :’)

Misread the timing and was under the (dumb) impression that we will reach Narita Airport at 11plus (2plus hours). Nope, we reached at 5plus Japan time. Had lunch during then.

After an hour of stop over (peppered with some poop-hit-the-fan realisation that we have to… *censored*), we are back onboard for a 9plus hours flight. Through the flights, i cleared The Bourne Legacy, The Batman Rises, Total Recall and The Avengers. Action packed sia.

For the lunch, I remembered to take the photo. Here’s dinner…

Half-eaten. Quite awesome jap meal. As for the tea… totally forgotten to take picture. Turbulence was quite bad then and when i look around, i was the only one still eating amidst of the bad shake. It was so bad that the tray was slipping off the table. Accomplishment unlocked.

After the saga at the Los Angeles, we left the place all worn out. Some photos as follows:

The airbus eventually came and the driver was really awesome. A bubbly face sure made things much better after… After about 2hours of bus ride (which has wifi!!!) and lotsa sleeping since it started raining (and the seats were comfortable too), we reached golitha.
And because it’s raining, it’s cold. Fingers were freezing while taking this photo.

Finally met up with the in-charge at UCSB. There’s Peggy and her husband, Steve, both biologists. they brought us to our dorms (see above) and then gave us a while to unpack our stuffs and then brought us to have dinner and grocery shopping. Really nice of them!!! Come to learn that the 3 of us who are in the secondary programme are going to the same school!

Ah, it’s 2plus am now. Time to sleep! Tomorrow have to be ready by 11:00am and the secondary people will be meeting the other secondary student-teachers and professors. Ah, still got to iron clothes. Shall go now! Nights!
